DId you know that new laws went into effect on 4/5/2010 that will help in expediting and streamlining the short sale process?  Banks will need to answer offers within 10 days, not 3 months... They will have to close a deal in 45 days, not 5 months. The seller will get a relocation bonus of $1,500 at the closing.... There are allot of rules and you must meet the criteria of the program to be considered. Contact your lender and ask them to give you the guidelines for HAFA.
